The American company Funko, which produces the vinyl figures of the same name, will publish the games. The first project – a big budget action platformer – will be handled by 10.10 Games studio. The release is planned for 2023.
Development is led by Jon Burton, founder of Traveller’s Tales, the studio behind most of the popular LEGO games, including the recent Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. You can read our review here.
In addition to the “paper” announcement, Funko presented a small teaser featuring a character named Freddie. Soon the developers promise to share other details.
Recall that Funko and Microsoft released a mobile strategy in 2019 Gears Pop based on the Gears of War series.
