The developers have released a free top-down shooter called Midnight mercenaries. He looks like Hotline Miami, but with lessons and mechanics from Team Fortress 2.
The list has 9 classes and 2 subclasses at a time. You can play as a sniper, scout, machine gunner and so on. There are 25 tasks available in the game that can be completed in different ways.
Separately, it is noted that the enemies in the game can be distracted or tricked. In addition, enemies react the same way to a given action in every situation. It was the same at Hotline Miami. And neutralized enemies can be hidden in the shadows, but this does not always help, as their companions may encounter them.
The game has a variety of weapons – “class”, melee and ranged. And the surrounding objects can also become weapons. The game also encourages experiments and attempts at non-linear levels. The plot itself will be non-linear and missions can be planned before they start.
In addition, enemies in the game will not shoot from outside the screen, and in case of death, the hero can respawn once in the middle of the level, instead of passing it again.
