Looks like a PvP shooter Sony’s Concord now has two serious problems: a weak launch and the behavior of developers in the media space. Yesterday’s release attracted few players and a lot of criticism, to which one of the creators of the project reacted extremely sharply.
The hero shooter’s release on PC and PS5 took place last night – at the peak of the online game, there were just under 700 people. However, a former Firewalk Studios developer nicknamed anim_xander posted a message congratulating his colleagues on the launch of Concord. Initially, the public in the comments expressed sympathy for the designer that he had to work on such an unsuccessful project, but anim_xander’s reaction made many take back their words:
Later anim_xander had to delete his comment, but users already took a screenshot of it. By the way, the developer himself was responsible for the character designs – he shared one on social networks before the game came out:
Let us remind you that Concord is a heroic space shooter where players fight in arenas in 5v5 mode. They can choose from 16 characters, each with their own unique characteristics. In the future, the developers plan to add more free content in the form of maps and new heroes.
Concord requires a link to a PSN account, so the project cannot be purchased in many countries, including the CIS.
The shooter received serious criticism even before its release – many players did not like the gameplay and character design. Open beta testing did not improve the situation either – we talked about the reasons in our review.
⚡️ A full trailer has been released for the anime based on “The Lord of the Rings”.
