With update 2.8 inch Genshin Impact has added several themed events, for participation in which you can get good rewards. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find all the Dreamshells in the Golden Apple Archipelago and get the Fischl Midsummer Night’s Dream skin.

How to participate in the Dream Visions event
To unlock entry to the event, players must meet the following conditions:
- Reach Adventure Rank 32. If you are struggling to get the adventure experience, be sure to check out this guide.
- Complete Archons main mission “Autumn Wind, Crimson Leaves”. It is the prologue to the second part of Inazuma.
- Complete the Legends of Mona quest “What do the stars of this world say” (not necessary).
- Go to the archipelago of the Golden Apple. How to unlock a thematic region, we told in this guide.
Once you unlock the Golden Apple Archipelago, you can start looking for Dreamshells. They are divided into several types:
- echo shells – the same items were used in the “Echoes of Legends” summer event last year.
- Shells from images – with their help you can learn about the history of the archipelago.
In this guide, we won’t sort collectibles into types, but we’ll tell you how to find each shell in order. We also created a map showing the location of shells in the Golden Apple Archipelago.
Keep in mind that some shells become available during individual challenges. So far we have found 18 of the 20 grenades. We will update this guide as soon as information about the location of the remaining collectibles becomes available.
Where do you find the first shell of dreams
This collectible is located in the northeast of Broken Isle. Follow the beach east. At the cave you see a shell.
Where do you find the second shell of dreams
Go to Pudding Island and look around the southwestern part of the site. Right on the beach is an item for the collection.
Where do you find the third shell of dreams
The Sink of Images is located at the top of Pudding Island. After you climb the hill, activate the teleporter. Right next to it you will find a sink.
Where do you find the fourth dream shell
Plan from the previous place to the beach, which is located in the southern part of the island. On one of the stones is an item for the collection.
Where do you find the fifth shell of dreams
This shell can only be obtained by completing the Spring Courtyard of yore quest as part of the Misty Mountains and Valleys challenge. View this guide to locate the item.
Where do you find the sixth shell of dreams
The next three grenades are on Dangerous Island. Please note that after completing the Ancient Azure Stars story quest, the appearance of the island will change. To find collectibles, you need to activate a special device.
When you do this, run to the lake under the rock and look for a shell on one of the rocks.
Where do you find the seventh shell of dreams
If you are under a rock at the lake, you will have to climb higher. Recently we talked about how to quickly reach the top of Dangerous Island.
When you do this, you’ll see an Electro Hammerer, not far away a shell with graphics.
Where do you find the eighth shell of dreams
Keep climbing to the top of the cliff on Dangerous Island. Here you will find another collector’s item.
Where do you find the ninth shell of dreams
Go to a small island between Broken Island and Pudding Island. In the central part of the site you will find an abandoned camp. There is a shell on one of the boxes.
Where do you find the tenth shell of dreams
Go to Steamy Island and inspect the northern part. On a hill you will find an echo shell.
Where do you find the eleventh shell of dreams
The collectible is near the previous scale. From the teleporter, head west until you see an echo grenade.
Where do you find the twelfth shell of dreams
This grenade could have been found earlier, but we’re just now getting to it. To find the item, examine the beach in the central part of the island.
Where do you find the thirteenth shell of dreams
Run west from the previous shell and climb up the hill. There’s a shell here.
Where do you find the fourteenth shell of dreams
All on the same Broken Island, keep inspecting the beach. On one of the stones you will find a collectible.
Where do you find the fifteenth shell of dreams
Return to Steamy Island and explore a small patch of land to the southeast. The sink of statues lies on a large stone.
Where do you find the sixteenth shell of dreams
This collectible can be found during the Flame Song quest as part of the Isles of Wavering Strings challenge. Once in the world of dreams, you have to climb the hill and activate second drum (the first device leads to the exit). Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to reach the floating islands location.
Beat the drum and move forward.
Play the harp to unlock the wind flow.
Repeat the action on the neighboring island.
Go up the stairs and turn the middle one to the left. Activate the harp and then enter the wind current.
This will take you to another Echo Shell.
Where do you find the seventeenth shell of dreams
The following shell can be obtained by completing the Apocalypse of Eternal Night quest as part of the Nirvana Night Citadel challenge. If you missed a collectible during the quest, use our instructions.
Return to Steamy Island and activate the Endless Night Apocalypse II Challenge. Go to the location with the cube, where you could control the tower for the first time.

Where do you find the eighteenth shell of dreams
It becomes available to players when they complete the Ancient Azure Stars quest as part of the Temple of Starry Latitudes challenge. To get the item, you have to solve various astral riddles and unlock the entrance to the secret room. We’ve covered more in this guide.
