A free demo of a meaty first-person shooter has been released on Steam Scathe. This demo was released as part of the Bilibili Games Charge festival in China. It lasts until August 15.
Scathe is a thrilling classic first-person shooter with massive weapons and scary demons. You are Doom, overseer of the legions of hell, forged from the earth by the Creator Himself. And you, like your fallen relatives, will have to prove your worth by traveling through a treacherous labyrinth where demons lurk. Grab your infernal hammer and get ready to unleash your rage!
Use the hero’s raw strength and incredible speed to fight your way through the horrific horrors of Hell, finding the Hellstones and defeating the almighty Guardians who protect them.
The authors also showed a new development journal, where they talked about some of the magical attacks that the hero can use in the game. This is a dark magic that allows you to heal yourself, summon allies and freeze enemies. The demo can be downloaded here.
The release of Scathe is scheduled for August 31, on this day the shooter comes out on PC. A console release is expected in 2023.
