Shareware Lineage 2 has revealed details of three summer updates for different versions of the game. You can try two updates right now.
Lineage 2 – Shield of the Kingdom Update (Available Now):
- Tanks – Phoenix Knights, Hell Knights, Shilen Templars, and Eva Templars – have been rebalanced. New abilities have also appeared in Sigel’s Hell Knights’ arsenal: the ability to summon the Panther Cube and use the Panther’s Swift Throw;
- The rules of the Olympic Games have changed. Now the winner of the competition is the one who has destroyed all enemies, and the duration of the match has been reduced from 3 hours to 1 hour and 40 minutes. Only players of level 110 are allowed to participate in the event;
- The cross-server hunting zone “Tower of Insolence” now includes the territory “Ancient Battlefield” and more powerful monsters have been added to the tower itself.
- 20 new collections and 33 exclusive heirlooms.
Lineage 2 Essence – Heart of the Volcano update (release August 14):
- The update adds a new cross-server location “Vulcan Brazier” for players of level 94+. Here you can fight the boss Vulcan and receive valuable rewards: an exceptional doll, a 4-star spellbook and other resources;
- The Shilen Templars and the Eva Templars will become stronger and receive two 4-star quality skills.
Lineage 2 Legacy – Lizard Overlord Update (Available Now):
- The update has reworked the Temple of Aztakan, including an attack for the Aztacan Raptor. During the fight, the boss is surrounded by four guards, regular monsters disappear, and all characters gain special effects. Level 85+ players are allowed to participate in the raid, and it takes 60 minutes to complete;
- In the Temple of Aztakan you can get the Phantom Mask, which increases physical and magical defense, gives bonuses to experience, increases damage and protects against damage in PvE;
- The update also added Incredible Soul Crystals (increases physical and magical attack, protects against negative effects) and Vulcan Doll (strengthens the owner).
