Polish studio Frozengem has announced a first-person RPG in a dark fantasy setting Dungeons of the Amber Griffin inspired by the Might and Magic series. The authors called their project ‘Dungeon Crawlers in a New Interpretation’.
BEE Dungeons of the Amber Griffin players find themselves in a dark fantasy world where they will lead a team of four daredevils. According to the plot, the main characters went in search of a griffin, which, according to legend, hid a huge piece of amber. During the journey, gamers will fight against monsters from Slavic folklore, visit deadly dungeons and meet interesting characters. You can trade with some NPCs, others can share important information or give you a side mission. While exploring the world, players can find new weapons, armor, artifacts, magical scrolls and gold.
There will be different classes to choose from (warrior, villain, priest and mage) with different development paths, each of which will have a major impact on the combat system. Heroes have active and passive abilities. The latter increases defense or attack, allows you to carry more items and more.
RPG will be released in 2023. The project page has already appeared on Steam.
