IN In Hades 2 you will encounter various gods, all of whom offer you unique gifts, souvenirs and other power-ups for your character. Boons of Zeus in particular offer players powerful boosts based on dealing extra damage to enemies. In this guide, we’ve rounded up the best builds you can use with this deity. We tell you which gifts, souvenirs and arcana cards to choose if you prefer to communicate with Zeus.
Best Zeus Builds
Speaking of Zeus, his buffs focus on increasing damage from regular and additional attacks, sigil hits, and spells. One of the most important spells is Blitz: it activates when you deal at least 120 damage to an enemy. After this, the enemy will be struck by lightning, which will deal another 80-200 damage, depending on the rarity of the selected gift.
Here is the optimal Zeus build that will allow you to inflict serious damage on your opponents:
- Weapon: Silver skull. The main purpose of this weapon is to deal area damage. You can charge it by picking up fallen skulls, allowing you to easily activate Blitz on all enemies within the skulls’ range.
- Known: Tula. While the frog Phrynos is a favorite of many, Tula offers another deadly game. She will scratch enemies if you or they attack her, which happens while you collect your silver skulls.
Arcana cards
- Sorceress – Slows time briefly when Omega’s skills are charged.
- Lost son – recovers 2+ HP after each meeting;
- Huntress – the damage increases if you have less maximum magic;
- Invisible — restore mana every second;
- Titanium – get 20+ max health and magic;
- Eternity – receive a death challenge;
- Fast runner — sprint 20% faster;
- Perfection – 30%+ chance to receive rare or higher gifts;
- Queen – the probability that the gifts offered are paired is 6%+;
- Champions – start each evening with a 1+ reroll so you can exchange gifts.
Souvenirs
- Silk sash (Arachne) — increases the amount of armor by 20 units and allows you to receive 2 armor after each encounter;
- Transcendent Embryo (Chaos) – Chaos gives you a free, powerful gift of varying rarity, which updates every 8 encounters;
- Tooth of Fortune (Shelemeus) – this gift offers you an additional death challenge (recovery after death), while the maximum health reserve upon revival is just over 100 HP;
- Cloud bracelet (Zeus) — increases the chance of finding a gift from Zeus and allows you to increase the rarity of one of the gifts offered once per night;
- Black fleece (Medea) – After receiving at least 250 damage, all your Omega skills deal 20% more damage.
Gifts
- Static Shock (Zeus) – When you enter a location, reserve 30-50 magic, which causes your attacks to emit chain lightning. Chain lightning damage ranges from 10 to 20 units.
- Thunder Ring (Zeus) – Using Omega causes lightning to continuously strike one enemy at a time. The damage ranges from 30 to 50 units per 0.25 second.
- Thunderwalk (Zeus) — While running, continuously deal lightning damage to nearby targets. Damage ranges from 20 to 35+ per 0.15 seconds.
- Frying fork (Zeus) – Blitz effects deal damage even if you haven’t activated the curse.
- Heavenly battle (Zeus) – Your attacks cause Blitz. Damage from Blitz ranges from 80 to 200+ units.
- Lightning spear (Zeus) – Hold the sigil to aim where the binding circle appears. Opponents within the circle receive 50 to 100 points of damage.
- Night bloom (Selena) – For 100 magic, summon an enemy you killed, who will fight at your side for 12 seconds.
- Reinforced array (hammer) – This blessing allows you to throw two additional skulls, giving you a total of 5 skulls to throw without having to reload.
This construction offers you high mobility and constant damage. You’ll need blessings that increase attack speed, as well as other damage boosts that work well with the Blitz curse. Remember that every build requires a bit of luck to find the right perks, so don’t give up and keep looking for the perfect combinations.
