IN No Rest For The Wicked has a complex system for item durability, which depends not on damage taken, but on the number of character deaths. In this guide we’ll explain how to repair weapons and armor. We will also share information about what materials are needed for repairs, where to look for them, and how to use them effectively to repair your equipment.
Repair equipment in No Rest For The Wicked
In No Rest For The Wicked you will break your equipment a lot. As we have already noted, the condition of the uniform depends on the number of deaths – with each death, the wear and tear on the armor and weapons will increase until the item is completely destroyed. But even in this case it can be repaired.
To do this, you need to find a blacksmith named Fillmore. He is located in the dining room of the Sea Fort and for a fee he can restore your weapons or armor. Initially, this is the only and most reliable way to solve the problem of wear and tear of items.
To reach this room, you must first find the dining room key. You can look for the corpse marked on the map. Run to the large campfire in the center of the fort and go past the dining room. There is a body on the wooden planks, after investigation you will receive a key.

After opening the dining room with the key you received, deal with the soldiers bothering Fillmore and then talk to him. This will give you access to the blacksmith’s repair services. There are only two functions to choose from: “Repair All” or “Repair Equipped”. For repairs you have to pay a certain amount.
In addition to the Blacksmith, you can try to restore a certain amount of power to any item using Repair Powder. A small pot of this substance adds 50 units of power to all equipped items. It can be found in some chests or destructible objects such as barrels. However, there is currently no specific loot spawn; they are found randomly in the open world.
How force works
In No Rest For The Wicked, the gear wear mechanics are related to the number of times your character dies, rather than the damage taken in battle. Each time you respawn at the Cerim Whisper point, you may notice that the condition of your armor and weapons deteriorates. This is represented by colored symbols on the inventory screen: yellow symbolizes moderate damage, orange indicates severe damage, and red indicates critical damage and near-total failure.
