Nintendo held a presentation announcing many great games – including action games, puzzles, multiplayer sessions and much more. But which projects are worth keeping an eye on? In this compilation, we tell you about the coolest games that have watched Direct Mini!
NieR vending machines. 2B fans will be happy
NieR Automata is one of the best action games of recent years. Few other games have so much fun chopping robots into small pieces. The operator deftly turns the camera and changes angles, screen-sized bosses block the way, and 2B impresses with beauty and grace. In addition, Automata surprises with a confused story – to fully appreciate the plot, it is worth going through the game several times. As early as October 6, Nintendo Switch owners will also be able to experience the adventures of 2B.

The Switch version was subtitled The End of YoRHa Edition. The port will include all DLC and costumes – in addition, cosplay star 2B will be trying on exclusive outfits. Dress her as you like – and most importantly, do not remove the chip responsible for the operating system from the body. Otherwise, you’ll be condemning the androyd to the most stupid death in video game history.

Return to Monkey Island. Cult classic
Monkey Island is a legendary questline that captivated gamers 30 years ago. The story was about a novice pirate: he dreamed of knowing the romance of sea adventures, but ended in a mystical change. The insidious ghost LeChak kidnapped a seductive lady, and only the hero could save her – however, for this he had to solve a hundred mysteries. The chic art and game design made the process captivating.

Return to Monkey Island is a sequel to the first two parts. Of course, the visuals have changed significantly and the gameplay is unlikely to stay the same. But most likely the authors will still be able to convey the atmosphere of the classics: after all, all the well-known characters, including Guybrush, Elaine and LeChaka, are present and the creator of the original, Ron Gilbert, is responsible for the development. There is no release date yet.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Mario in XCOM style
In 2017, Mario had to team up with the Rabid Bunnies and fight for the Kingdom – while the gameplay was original. Heroes ran freely around the world solving puzzles, but as soon as a battle started, the game turned into a real XCOM. The characters hid behind cover, taking turns making moves, using skills, and desperately trying to kill each other. The concept fell in love with gamers – unsurprisingly, the developers picked up the sequel, which will be released on October 20.

Gameplay Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope will remain the same game, but the scale will grow exponentially. This time, the heroes will not have to fight for the kingdom, but for the entire galaxy. Mario, the rabbits and the company will have to visit different worlds and fight many artsy creatures. No matter how difficult the challenge, the forces of darkness are sure not to run into trouble.
Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. Collection of classics
Mega Man is a popular character who has become the hero of games of various genres. He jumped on platforms, participated in turn-based battles, drove cars and so on. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection contains ten classic games about a hero with a gun instead of a hand. The release is planned for 2023.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Everyone Loves Pacman
Many people still think that Pac-Man is exclusively the same arcade game where the hero flew through the maze, ate candy and ran away from ghosts. In fact, games about Pac-Man are multifaceted: in 1999, for example, an excellent platform game with a funny plot and an abundance of gameplay mechanics was released on the first PlayStation. The game was so cool that the developers decided to release a remake of Pac-Man World Re-Pac. The release of the rethink is scheduled for August 26.

Super Bomberman R 2. Multiplayer Battle
What could be more fun than running around a small venue and blowing up your friends with a bomb? At the dawn of the game industry, such entertainment was breathtaking. You’ll be able to feel the same drive again in 2023 – that’s when Super Bomberman R 2 is released. The novelty will try to captivate the story, the classic multiplayer for 15 players and even the battle royal for 64 people.

Harvest. RPG with life simulation mechanics
Harvestella is a fantasy RPG about the cozy village of Lith, where the main character lives. Unfortunately, the house is in danger: monsters have begun to roam the area, mystical creatures have descended from the sky and a mysterious evil is about to destroy all life. As a result, you have to grab the knife and go save the world.

In addition to the standard action with magic and pumps, Harvestella will have many other mechanics. For example, the heroine has to garden, cook, fish, and so on. At the same time, the seasons alternate regularly – in winter and summer the activities differ. The release is scheduled for November 4.
persona. Port of the best parts on Switch
Persona is a nice series of games. There are so many mechanics in each part that the passage of the story campaign usually takes more than a hundred hours. Some of the time the heroes spend in the usual routine: they go on dates, train in a rocking chair, watch movie theaters, prepare for exams, and so on. In addition, they travel through the minds of the villains, trying to lure them to the side of good. As a result, the road to the credits often stretches for months.

At the same time, the scale of games is constantly growing: Persona 5, the number of activities was amazing. Therefore, the upcoming release of versions for Nintendo Switch is great news. The series doesn’t require you to react quickly to dangers and run somewhere, just act thoughtfully. Therefore, there’s nothing better than taking control of the Joker while you’re in line or on the subway, then continue the adventure at home.

person 5, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will be released at different times. So far, only the fifth installment has a release date – October 21.
Portal: Companion Collection. Already on Switch
Both parts of Portal are called some of the best games of all time for a reason. Valve has written a great story, created great puzzles and introduced gamers to the excellent antagonist GLaDOS. It is curious that Portal has not become obsolete over the years, both in terms of gameplay and graphics. That’s why the dilogy should be appreciated by everyone – as an option, on the Nintendo Switch, where the collection Portal: Companion Collection is now available.

Minecraft legends. dice strategy
Minecraft Legends is a combination of action and strategy. The hero will have to challenge sinister monsters that have crawled out of an ancient portal and intend to take over the world. To avoid them, you have to build buildings, gather an army, craft equipment and fight personally on the battlefield. The game will be released in 2023.

Sonic Limits. Sonic in the open world
Fans greeted the announcement Sonic Frontiers is ambiguous – in their opinion, the novelty looks soulless, and the speed of Sonic is not felt. However, the new trailer reassured the public a bit: after all, the game will have huge enemies, several tracks for fast races and lots of fun activities. We will know at the end of 2022 whether the project will fit or fail.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The monster hunt continues
Sunbreak is an addition to a successful Monster hunter rise. First, the game fascinated the Nintendo Switch owners and then impressed PC gamers – after all, everyone loves to hunt artsy monsters. The DLC, which will be released on June 29, will include a new region and many new critters.

Disney Dreamlight Valley. A Disney Fan’s Dream
If you like Disney movies and cartoons, pay attention to Disney Dreamlight Valley. The heroes are located in a fairytale valley where Mickey Mouse, the Lion King, Goofy, Moana and other famous characters live. You can interact with them, complete missions, build houses and so on. The game will be released in Early Access on September 6.

A Plague Tale: Requiem. Even coming out on Switch
Direct Mini said the sequel to one of the best games of 2019 will also be coming to Nintendo Switch. True, launch A Plague Tale: Requiem is produced in the cloud. If you have a good internet connection, streaming shouldn’t be a problem.

Amicia and Hugo begin their journey in a beautiful place that the plague has not yet reached. Unfortunately, a hopeful life will soon be destroyed: the area will overflow with thousands of sick rats and the villains will once again hunt heroes. Fortunately, new weapons, tools and superpowers increase your chances of survival. The release date of the cloud version is unknown, but we are definitely talking about 2022.
