Modder nicknamed Awesome Mods has released its own remaster of the original Max Payne with high resolution textures. It is available as a mod for the original game, but only Patreon subscribers of the author can get it.

According to the modder, almost all original textures have been replaced with improved ones with HD quality. In addition, the remaster includes a ReShade filter that makes the image more saturated.
The first volume of Max Payne was released in 2001. It is developed by Remedy Entertainment. By the way, the appearance of the main character was given by the founder of the studio, Sam Lake.
