Popular MMO shooter STALCRAFT has launched an in-game event inspired by another hype project: “Rus vs. Lizards”.
STALCRAFT was developed by EXBO studio. Initially it was intended as a global mod for Minecraft in the STALKER universe, but over time the project grew into a separate game with its own features on its own engine.
Key features include a large-scale post-apocalyptic open world (Chernobyl Exclusion Zone), as well as PvP and PvE elements. In addition to battling each other, gamers can complete non-linear story missions designed to last dozens of hours.
Moreover, the authors of STALCRAFT are constantly developing the project, introducing improvements and new features in updates released twice a month.
The event, called “Arena Rusov”, started on March 20. As part of this event, a new game mode will be available, as well as additional skins, weapons and paints inspired by the meme game ‘Rus vs. Lizards,” which was released in 2023 and suddenly became one of the hottest projects on the market. In the Arena, players, divided into two teams of five, must defend their Idol of Perun against waves of monsters for 25 rounds.
For tokens earned in battles, you can buy new equipment: modules, blueprints for improvement, settings for combat characteristics and weapons that will give you a significant advantage over the opponent team.
Gamers will also find different areas to explore. To play in some of them you need to have a science suit. By the way, it can also be purchased with collected tokens.
From the sixth round onwards, modifiers will appear (darkness, falling grenades, appearing anomalies, etc.), designed to make each battle different from one another.
