Six years after release No Man’s Sky is coming to Nintendo Switch. Developer Hello Games has announced that the space sandbox will be coming to the hybrid console on October 7. Initially, the premiere was planned for the summer.

Digital and physical copies will go on sale. In addition to the game itself, the kit includes all previously released updates.

No Man’s Sky on such a small device not only feels completely natural, but also completely incredible. It was a real breakthrough for our small team. No Man’s Sky is based on procedural generation, which means that the console generates everything you see.

This makes it a lot harder to port our game to something like the Switch, but I don’t think our team has ever been happier than when they tried to do the near-impossible.

— Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games

In addition to the Switch version, the team will release a disc edition for the PlayStation 5. And later an update will come that will allow you to go into space on PlayStation VR2. The Poles make a “morally ambiguous” RPG about the occupation of Warsaw by the Russian Empire
