Released on June 16 Neon White is a card-based action platformer that simultaneously resembles The edge of the mirror, earthquake, Persona 5 and visual novels. At Summer Game Fest, the game was passed by many viewers. It turned out to be in vain.
On Metacritic, the novelty got 88 points. For example, a Game Informer journalist called Neon White “one of the most exciting events of recent years”, noting the map system, level design and management. On OpenCritic, the game is recommended by 95% of critics.
The most curious thing is that the Steam version of the project now has 100% positive feedback – 318 players have already written about their impressions.
In Neon White, players take on the role of White, an assassin who has been transported from Hell to compete for a chance to win a ticket to heaven. The hero will have to fight against opponents and meet other assassins – it seems that he has met one before.
The game is available on PC and Nintendo Switch. The price on Steam is 495 rubles, which includes a 10% discount.
