Instead of “The Witcher 4”, a new game “The Witcher” has leaked

While all gamers look forward to the first news about the game “The Witcher 4» from studio CD Project Reda new game “The Witcher” has leaked to the network.

Last October, CD Projekt RED announced the acquisition of The Molasses Flood Studios. It was reported that this studio would be working on an “ambitious project” in the universe of one of the IP CD Projekt. Now hints have appeared on the network as to which game in question. Given that The Witcher 4 was recently announced, you’d assume The Molasses Flood studio is helping develop this project. Apparently, however, the developers of The Molasses Flood are making a separate game in the Witcher universe.

The Molasses Flood Studio is currently looking for a designer for a multiplayer game on the Unreal Engine. Judging by the vacancy, the developers are making an action game of sorts with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer combat and some sort of procedural generation. It is also noted that the game will have a pumping system as well as battles that will be performed both with and without weapons. It is worth noting that all future CD Projekt RED projects will be developed on the Unreal Engine 5. This is how The Witcher 4 game was made on it.

Since the next big CD Projekt RED game will likely be The Witcher 4, we can assume that the multiplayer project is being developed in this universe. Additionally, CD Projekt CEO Adam Kicinski said last year that the developers plan to add multiplayer to both of their franchises – The Witcher and Cyberpunk.

The Witcher 4 doesn’t even have an estimated release date yet. The project being developed by The Molasses Flood, which is most likely the Witcher multiplayer, also has no release date.
