At the PC Gaming Show showed a trailer for a new game from 11 bit studios called the alters. The first trailer showed how the character meets his alternate versions. Unfortunately, the gameplay has not yet been presented.
“A game about moments that change lives. About those choices we make in a nanosecond, but which turn our whole lives upside down. The fact that if you look within, you can discover who we are now, is the result of exactly such choices. But then the question certainly arises: WHAT, IF?says the description.
The main character of The Alters is a simple worker Jan Dolsky, who once had to make an emergency landing on a distant planet. After that, the hero is forced to fight for his life all by himself. Jan’s main goal is to find other people who can help him escape. The character decides to create alternate versions of himself, after which his life changes drastically.
The authors call their game ‘a unique philosophical work’. Apparently the emphasis will be on the non-linearity of the development of events. Details about the gameplay will come later. The project already has pages on Steam, EGS, and GOG.
