At the EGS presentation, the developers showed a trailer for a new game based on The Lord of the Rings – The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. Apparently in the game you have to manage a colony of gnomes, survive in the darkness, collect resources and craft everything you need. The project is being developed by Free Range Games and published by North Beach Games. The game takes place in the fourth age of Middle-earth.
The player summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli, the Keeper of the Tress, controls a pack of dwarfs. Their mission is to find the lost ruins of Moria’s dwarf homeland, also known as Khazad-dum or Dwarrowdelph, deep beneath their own feet. To descend into the mines of Moria and seek its treasures, they need unspeakable steadfastness.
The game will be released in the spring of 2023. She already has a page in EGS.
