Mortal Kombat 1 continues to cause controversy on the internet due to its overly greedy monetization. Recently, gamers noticed a seasonal skin for Johnny Cage, which is practically no different from the original image.

The skin is called Flesh Forward and is a slight color change from the main outfit. Although the item costs 4,000 season credits, which can be easily collected in Invasion mode, many players are outraged that such a lazy rework costs money at all.

“I stared at this suit for about five minutes trying to tell the difference.”– Glittering-Knee-974.

“I love how creative and different they are, what a great job, NetherRealm.”— RyuzakiF.

“It’s crazy that they lightened the red band and shirt and thought it was worth four grand blankblank»— Kvnnxdy.

Previously, players were upset about a paid fatality for $10.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Our review.
