10 GTA 6 tricks from the first trailer

First trailer GTA 6 gave us a lot of information about the game. We have known some of it for a long time, but there is also a lot of completely new information that has not yet been found among insiders. We decided to make a small top and describe ten GTA 6 features that we first learned about from the trailer.

Let’s start with something simpler. From the video we learned that the game will be released in 2025. There are rumors that the release is expected early this year, but we are betting on the fall. First, Rockstar Games gets more time to polish, and second, most of the year’s hits traditionally release in the fall. This also includes the indicated platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. I haven’t heard anything about PC yet, but that’s always been the case with GTA. The new product will appear on computers a little later.

Judging from the mentioned list of technologies that Rockstar is currently testing, there is a chance to see the first true next-gen game with a seamless world, buildings open to visitors and incredible elaboration of the environment and animations.

What the trailer clearly confirmed was the increased importance of nature and animals. Proven developments Red Dead Redemption 2 would be weird not to use. That’s why dolphins and sharks swim in the water, pelicans and pink flamingos fly through the air and alligators wander into shops every now and then. According to official data, the map will cover the territory of the entire state, which means it will be several times larger than one-fifth. There is room for dense forests, swamps and even mountains.

Procedurally generated skies, natural day/night cycles and new animal artificial intelligence should bring terrain exploration closer to reality.

They promise a well-developed ocean floor with its own ecosystem and secrets, which means you can hope for diving.

The diversity of the environment will make optional activities such as hunting, fishing or other sporting events much more interesting. Developers can add entire mission lines related to safari, skydiving into the wild or off-road racing, for example. The trailer, by the way, showed cheerful residents of Vice City in the mud against the backdrop of huge cars. Apparently, such entertainment will be available.

With transport in GTA everything is traditionally excellent, but in the sixth part the scale has to increase again. In addition to a variety of cars, motorcycles, helicopters, boats and planes, more interesting ones should also appear, for example, hovercrafts, yachts, seaplanes and helicopters that can take off from the water. The list will probably grow even bigger by the time it comes out. Let’s add alignment here, which is almost 100% likely to happen, and the possibilities for creativity will become virtually limitless.

It is not yet known how deep the car customization will be, but from some leaks it has become clear that there will be a whole range of tasks related to the search and restoration of vintage cars. In the video we saw Jacob in a cool Mustang, which means this could be his personal quest. In addition, the trailer showed subdued and blown-up cars. The last time something like this was allowed was indoors GTA: San Andreas – it seems that now it will be possible again.

Almost all journalists noted the strong emphasis on social networks in the trailer. It seems that the capabilities of the internal Internet will expand even further, and players will be able to maintain their profiles and share funny videos and photos online.

Users noticed that many videos from the trailer repeated real stories that had gone viral online, even finding the originals. For example, a twerking girl on the roof of a car, a woman with two hammers, or an almost naked man watering the lawn.

We should expect other iterations of famous memes. At the same time, the trailer clearly indicates that the topic of blogging, if not central, then at least one of the most important. It seems like the main characters could become real local YouTube stars and amass an army of subscribers, but it’s not yet known whether this will be woven into quests or remain an optional social activity.

The territory of Vice City will certainly be divided by several gangs at once. The trailer featured motorcyclists and street racers.

It is clear that there will eventually be many more. It is not yet clear whether we will work with each of them in the plot or whether we will be able to choose one group to help in the battle for the city. Interestingly enough, the trailer showed close-ups of two African Americans, hinting at their important role in the plot. Either these are the leaders of some gangs, or members of one gang. Maybe this is how we got bullied with two future employers.

It’s no secret that the fifth part already had a first-person view, but it was added much later than the release.

Nothing has yet been said about the new product, but there are images from the chest camera of a police officer who participates in the arrest together with his team. Maybe this is just a beautifully staged moment, but you can still count on a first-person view. There’s nothing stopping you from implementing this.

Even the minute and a half long video contains many scenes with signature Rockstar Games humor. Here you’ll find the pursuit of a body-positive freak, naked old men, and questionable-looking rednecks making obnoxious faces.

There have been many rumors on the Internet that the new part of GTA will become much more tolerant and lose all its hooligan spirit, but it seems that there is no need to worry. Many activists are already writing angry letters because of the overly explicit content, the sexualization of the female image and a dozen other reasons. But only one trailer was released. This once again proves that the developers are true to themselves and are not afraid of scandals or disapproval from a progressive society, which certainly deserves respect.

Nightclubs and parties also appeared in the trailer. Even after midnight there should be something to do in Vice City.

At the same time, we are not looking at some plot inserts, but at elements of a full-fledged nightlife. I wonder how a trip to, say, a strip bar will affect the relationship between two lovers?

It has officially become known that the usual activities of the GTA series will be supplemented with a variety of heists. It is difficult to say whether this will be part of the story campaign, but it is already clear that you will now have to steal much more often. The main characters Jason and Lucia will regularly break into shops, cafes and gas stations. At the same time, the system of hiding faces migrated from Red Dead Redemption 2, when heroes wore masks or scarves during crimes.

Astute gamers spotted several small freighters in the panoramic images of the city. Even if they can’t be hijacked, they can certainly be forced to share the goods, otherwise the developers simply wouldn’t add such vehicles to the game.

It will most likely be impossible to change the characters’ faces. However, there are several shots in the trailer where Lucia looks very different.

For example, there is constant debate among players as to whether the girl in the white swimsuit is the main character, but judging by the identical earrings and birthmarks, it is. This confirms information that was previously just a rumor. GTA 6 returns a system where the characters’ lifestyle and habits will directly influence their appearance.
