At its presentation, Devolver Digital presented an unusual game called The Plucky Squire, with a gameplay trailer and the list of platforms. The game is slated to release in 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The main characters are the characters of a book fairy tale, who manage to get out of their 2D world and into another reality – three-dimensional. The heroes are haunted by the villain from the book, who, realizing that he is destined to lose, decides to radically change the plot.
“Jump between 2D and 3D worlds in this adorable action-adventure as you solve puzzles, box ties, fly your jetpack and enjoy many other cute and amazing mini-challenges as you become the hero of a living storybook”says the description.
The Plucky Squire is already on the wish list on Steam.
