The film company 20th Century Studios showed fans of the cult fantasy action series “Predator” a new trailer for the new film, in which the legendary alien showed his new weapon and delighted fans.
The first full trailer for Prey, the prequel to the first action movie Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been released. Events develop 300 years ago. The video shows a girl named Naru from the Comanche tribe. She dreams of becoming a hunter, but men do not take her. Naru trains hard to prove to everyone that she can do it. On the very first trip to the bear, the girl encounters an invisible monster. She tries to warn the hunters of her tribe, but they do not listen to her. As a result, Naru must take everything upon himself and fight with an alien fighter, so as not to become his prey.
In the trailer for the new Predator, the alien showed off a new weapon. He briefly appears with a collapsible shield, which opens at the right moment and repels the enemy field. Despite the confrontation between the Predator and the Indians, there will still be firearms in the film. In some frames, viewers are shown the colonizers of America. They have axes and guns, but this does not save them from a dangerous alien. Apparently, to defeat the alien fighter, Naru will have to use cunning and survival skills, as Arnold Schwarzenegger did in the movie Predator.
The trailer of the action movie “Prey” was very much liked by the fans, despite their concerns about the place and time of the action, but also because of the main character. The video has already racked up several thousand likes and users have left several hundred negative comments. Fans of the franchise ultimately liked how the authors of the tape showed the power and horror of the Predator in another era. However, some of them commented that Naru’s victory over the alien would look strange, because at the very beginning of the trailer she just miraculously doesn’t die from a bear’s paws.
The Prey movie from the Predator universe will be released on August 5, 2022. The tape was directed by Dan Trachtenberg. The director is known for his work on the series The Boys and Black Mirror, as well as the thriller Cloverfield 10 from the Monster franchise.
