The network has new information that revealed a new action adventure Just cause 5 from publisher Square Enix.
Just Cause 5 has been revealed to investors from Square Enix’s new financial report. It’s worth noting that the publisher struck a deal with the Embracer Group earlier this year to sell its studios and some franchises. At the same time, the fate of hotel game series, such as Just Cause, remained unknown. Now, a new financial report reveals that the Just Cuse series, created by Avalanche Studios, has been retained by Square Enix. In addition, the fifth part is already in development.
According to Yosuke Matsuda, president of Square Enix, the Just Cause franchise is still owned by the company, and a new game in the series is already in development, which is quite possible, Just Cause 5. Since this was announced during meeting with investors, there are no details about the new project yet. It can be assumed that Avalanche Studios, which created all previous installments and which was recently looking for new employees to develop an “unannounced AAA game”, is back in development.
At this point, Just Cause 5 has not yet been officially announced. The final installment of Just Cause 4 was released in 2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
