Shadow Heart from Baldur’s Gate 3 by Torie
At the Golden Joystick Awards the game Baldur’s Gate 3 won in five categories at once, including the main title – “Game of the Year”. In addition, the Larian Studios team was recognized as the best among developers, and Neil Newbon, who played Astarion, was noted as a top-notch supporting actor. And we will add that Baldur’s Gate 3 has become popular in cosplay. The image of the half-elf Shadowheart was brought to life by Torie. We have devoted a separate article to this girl.
Hot bonus:
After the Witcher trilogy it was difficult for me to find a new source of inspiration. And Baldur’s Gate 3 turned out to be a breath of fresh air. And Shadowheart’s look with blonde hair reminded me of Ciri. That’s why I chose her. But in the future I plan to cosplay other characters in the game.

Celine from the film ‘Another World’ by Sofia Letyago
“Underworld” is a series of films dedicated to the battle of vampires against werewolves. The plot revolves around a girl named Celine, played by Kate Beckinsale. Her heroine tasted the blood of the First Immortal, so now she is considered the most powerful vampire in the world. This beauty was played by Sofia Letyago.
My cosplay plans include many universes that impressed me as a child. Among them there is “Another World”. I was once struck by the dark, gothic interpretation of the confrontation between vampires and werewolves. And the image of Celine in a latex suit with icy eyes and a lovely figure lingered in my heart for a long time. That’s why I brought her image to life as soon as the opportunity arose.

This year, representatives of DreamWorks Animation announced the start of work on the fifth “Shrek” (Shrek 5). In addition, the voice acting will involve actors who participated in the creation of the first animated films in this series. Let us remind you that Princess Fiona speaks in the voice of actress Cameron Diaz. Cosplay of Shrek’s lover was created by Nesty.
“Shrek” is one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. For cosplay I always try to choose characters that are close to me in appearance or personality. Fiona is the second case.
When I cosplay, I stop being myself and become my heroine. Fiona has a difficult life with a happy ending. She has been through a lot and deserves to be happy. I wanted to feel it and show it. So I reenacted the scene where my princess was left alone in the tower with the dragon.

Fairy Godmother from the second “Shrek” of Mrs. Oladyshka
The Shrek theme is continued by Anna Serebryakova, better known as Mrs. Oladyshka. The girl played the role of the Fairy Godmother, the main villain of the second cartoon, who used magic for personal gain. Anna showed a younger version of her character and undressed her slightly.

In my opinion, it was in the second “Shrek” that the authors did their best. I consider the gem of the cartoon to be the Fairy Godmother, who breaks all fairytale stereotypes. This is not a nice assistant, but a cunning businesswoman with her refined style in the spirit of Miranda Priestly from the film The Devil Wears Prada. Since childhood I have been interested in controversial characters like the Fairy Godmother.
I took a risk when I cosplayed as her because in some ways we are completely different. But I managed to overcome my doubts. In my work I tried to preserve the general character and mood of the heroine.

Charlie from Don’t Starve Together by RossoFiore
In multiplayer survival Don’t Starve Together Charlie appears as the ruler of Persistence. She sees all living things as a threat, so she orders her servants to attack the players. The Shadow Queen Cosplay was created by RossoFiore.
I was impressed with Charlie’s video of her freeing Wilson and sending him into the portal. At that moment the battle between the dark and light sides of her personality began. As a result, they merged into one. Then the girl became the queen of shadows.
I can’t call her an absolute villain. She has been through a lot and accepted herself as she is, we are similar in this. I hope we hear more about her true goals in the future.

Mikasa Ackerman from Oichi’s anime series “Attack on Titan”.
Two years ago, when the last part of the Attack on Titan manga came out, we collected a large selection of cosplay based on it. And on November 4, 2023, viewers saw the final episode of the anime series based on. In honor of this event, Oichi posted new stills of Mikasa Ackerman. The Eldar in the world of Warhammer 40,000 are a powerful race that travels the galaxy in enormous spaceships. Among the representatives of this people are harlequins, professional murderers, for whom war is a separate form of art. Their main enemy is the servants of Chaos, because it was the dark gods who destroyed the Eldar Empire many years ago. The harlequin cosplay was created by Ilona Candynsjos.

As 2023 draws to a close, gaming sites, including ours, will soon be recapping the past twelve months. They’ll probably mention it Hogwarts Legacy is the first decent video game in the Harry Potter universe in a long time. And herbology teacher Mirabelle Chesnoke has become popular in cosplay. Nowadays she is much more common than Hermione Granger or Bellatrix Lestrange. An excellent example is the work of Zhanna Rudakova.
