The network has new information about the movie “Tron 3”, which shocked fans waiting for the release of the third part.
Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski talks about Tron 3. Initially, Kosinski was supposed to shoot the third part, but according to the director, the Walt Disney company canceled the film in 2015. The director even revealed why Disney wanted to cancel Tron 3. “I really tried. I was about to start the movie in 2015, but Disney didn’t want to. In 2015, it was already another Disney company. When I was filming Tron: Legacy, they didn’t have Marvel or Star Wars,” said Joseph Kosinski.
So, according to the director, it was Marvel movies and Star Wars projects that could be the reason Disney didn’t want to film the third Tron. That said, Kosinski adds that it’s no surprise that Disney has bet on Marvel and Star Wars over Tron. It is worth noting that the director planned to make a film called “Tron: Ascension”, in which the creatures of the network would break out into the real world. Kosinski himself has previously described Tron 3 as “an invasion film”.
At the moment, a new movie “Tron 3” starring Jared Leto (Jared Leto) in the title role has been announced. This movie is directed by Garth Davis. At the same time, it is not known how soon the film will be released or whether it will come out at all.
