Around the expected horror Abandoned by Blue Box is back again. Last year it was rumored that this is the Silent Hills revival by Hideo Kojima (Hideo Kojima) and Guillermo del Toro (Guillermo del Toro). The game was canceled in 2015, but is said to have been developed in secret. Now, however, there is a new cause for concern.
According to the results of a journalistic investigation, the Gamespot source reported that the game does not actually exist. The publication’s staff spoke to people who were part of the private group run by Hasan Kahraman, head of Blue Box Game Studios. He was the one who led the development of the game.
It is reported that the community has undergone several changes and upon joining it was necessary to sign a nondisclosure agreement. Kahraman himself was described by people as having mood swings.
As for the game, Kahraman promised to play the test Abandoned in the community, but he never did. But showed only individual elements of the world. At the same time, he shifted the responsibility for the failures to others.
Finally, Kahraman stated that the game does not exist, there are only plans to create, but active development has not yet started. Blue Box is preparing a playable prologue that will reportedly attract investment, but no one has seen it either.
At the same time, based on the latest data, Blue Box continues to work. They sent a letter to the PC Gamer editors explaining that the prologue would be released when it was ready. So one can hope that Abandoned is not completely abandoned after all.
