How to start the Archons quest “Dangerous Path: Interim Volume, Chapter 2”
To access the quest chain, you need to meet a few conditions:
- Reach hero adventure rank 28.
- Complete the Archon quest “The Approach of a New Star, Volume 1, Chapter 3”.
- Complete Arataki Itto’s Legends Quest “Heavenly Bull. Chapter 1”.
- Complete the Shogun Raiden’s Legends quest Mortal World. Chapter 2.
- Complete the “The cauldron is a full bowl” quest.
When all conditions are met, open the task log and select the first available task from the Unexpected guest search line.
How to pass the quest “Unexpected Guest”
Travel to the lower levels of the Rift to talk to Yan Fei. She will ask for her to mate, after which Arataki Itto and Kouki Shinobu will appear. After talking to these heroes, the main part of the quest begins.
Walk forward and descend to the gorge that leads deep into the Rift. In addition to the aforementioned characters, you will also be introduced to the new hero Ye Lan. Together with new friends you will enter the underground mine of the Rift.
Talk to Ye Lan first and enter the Cranes Dance Dungeon. Depending on your world level, you will see the recommended squad level. The fifth level of the world requires 71 squad levels. This will start the next quest “Underground Labyrinth”.

How to complete the “Danger Everywhere” quest. How to correctly arrange all symbols in the dungeon “City of Hidden Runes”
After completing the previous task, open the Paimon menu and wait until the next day. Chat with your friends and go to the next portal. It leads to the next dungeon “City of Hidden Runes”. It is currently recommended to equip at least one hero with the Geo element.
You will enter a dungeon with six platforms. On the central platform are four main symbols of different colors. Move across other platforms, activate runes (pay attention to the central platform to select the correct symbol) and fight monsters. If you try to activate with the wrong runes, you will take damage.
After each battle, you must send beams of light to the symbols that appear on opposite platforms. Use the screenshots below for this.
Go to the top platform and watch the cutscene where Xiao will appear. Watch a long video, then talk to the others and find Xiao in the cave. When you do this, you get the achievement. “No Way Home” and open access to a new dungeon.
