The first gameplay trailer for Sonic Frontiers from publisher SEGA is 7 minutes long. The video focuses on the exploration of the open world, which the blue hedgehog Sonic engages in. The protagonist in this trailer explores the ruins, collects coins, rides on rails, solves various puzzles and simply rushes through the world of Sonic Frontiers at high speed. It’s worth noting that Sonic didn’t encounter any enemies in the first gameplay video. The entire video is completely devoted to the study of a large open world. At the same time, many fans were pleasantly surprised by the new Sonic game.
According to the description of Sonic Frontiers, an incredible gaming experience awaits gamers, which will allow everyone to “experience the thrill of the freedom of exploring an open world at high speed.” Among other things, enemies will appear in the new Sonic game, which will of course be shown in the following videos. The authors note that in Sonic Frontiers, players must compete against powerful opponents. It is possible that one of them is Doctor Eggman – one of the most famous opponents of Sonic the Hedgehog.
The game Sonic Frontiers is scheduled to be released in 2022. The project will be released on PC, as well as PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X consoles.
