According to the source, the researchers interviewed 1953 people, 64% of whom supported this idea. A third of the respondents consider it necessary to include lessons on game development and creation in the school curriculum, and these should be compulsory lessons.
It is also claimed that the Russians started to approve video games more and more. For example, 70% of respondents let their children play video games, and more than a quarter of this number rate such a pastime positively. Also, 63% of parents said they have no negative stereotypes about games and game culture.
According to a quarter of respondents, they are not against their children building a career in gaming. Admittedly, it doesn’t specify whether we’re talking about game development or, say, eSports. Attention!
