I just couldn’t pass it up; I wanted to cosplay just like her. Psylocke uses a katana in battle, and I feel a special thrill when I see this Japanese weapon.

In the graphic novels of the Bombshells series you meet well-known DC Comics heroines in pin-up images. Among them are Supergirl, Black Canary, Harley Quinn and Catwoman. The image of Selina Kyle was brought to life by Alena Sysueva. We have devoted a separate article to this girl.
Hot bonus:
A few years ago I made a pin-up version of Catwoman in a short dress for a large group project with the girls. Then we put on a great show on stage. But the photo shoot didn’t work out with that suit. After a while I wanted to return to the pin-up image of a cat, but in a different dress, which was on the cover of the comic. I note that this image almost never appeared in cosplay.

Persephone from the film “The Matrix: Revolution” by Anna Shakhovskaya
In the film ‘The Matrix Revolutions’, Italian actress Monica Bellucci played a small but striking role. According to the plot of the film, its heroine turned out to be a program that feeds on the emotions of others. Many viewers were impressed by Monica’s red outfit with a plunging neckline. This isn’t my first cosplay based on Monica Bellucci’s roles. Before that, I had already gotten used to the image of Cleopatra from Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatre and Persephone in a light dress from the second Matrix.
As before, I approached the new cosplay with all seriousness. The latex dress was made to order in strict accordance with Monica’s outfit from the movie “The Matrix: Revolutions”. I wanted to achieve maximum canonicity. The latex, of course, creaked strangely when moving, but it stretched perfectly, following the curves of the body and not restricting movements. That’s why I felt comfortable during the shoot and enjoyed the process. I hope you like the result.

On September 14, the final episode of the 4th season of the animated series “Harley Quinn” was released. Due to James Gunn’s decisions, the Joker’s ex-girlfriend will no longer appear in films, at least not in the near future. But in animated films the girl feels great. The animated series about her received excellent reviews from the press and attracted the attention of viewers. Harley cosplay was created by Arina Grantaire. The idea to cosplay as Harley came from my friend. She wanted me to participate in a joint photo shoot with her. I agreed because I always liked the image of the Joker’s crazy girlfriend from the comics. Before filming, I watched the animated series and was impressed by it. And Harley in shorts and a tank top has become one of my favorite looks for photo shoots and performances.

Alia Atreides from Dune by Anmaro
In 2021, a new film adaptation of the novel “Dune” by Frank Herbert (Franklin Patrick Herbert, Jr) was released, which turned out to be surprisingly successful. Director Denis Villeneuve managed to convey the dark atmosphere of the original book. Anmaro starred as Alia Atreides. Her heroine played an important role in what happened on the planet Arrakis.

Ciri from the third “The Witcher” by Niveron
Our article could not do without traditional work based on the universe “The Witcher” This time the image of Ciri was brought to life by Marianne, better known under the pseudonym Niveron. More cosplay of the Witcher and sorceresses from Andrzej Sapkowski’s saga can be found in the thematic selection.
It so happened that at the time of the release of the third “The Witcher” I was very sad. The game got me out of this state. During the passage, Ciri herself seemed like a heroine who is always running away from us. However, when it came time to solve a serious problem, she accepted the challenge and faced the biggest threat face to face. I will add that in my ending the witcher became an empress. Only in this case will she be able to achieve peace between the kingdoms of the North and Nilfgaard.
