The main feature of the new soulslike Lies of P is a lie system. In some dialogues, Pinocchio is free to choose, which ultimately affects the ending of the adventure. In this guide we will look at all three endings and also tell you about the conditions that must be met for each of them.
What do endings depend on?
There are only 14 decisive moments in the game. In each of them you will have to make a choice: tell the truth or lie. Surprisingly, it’s the truthful answers that will lead you to the worst ending (which is weird). However, such decisions are far from the only factor. Closer to the finale, you will have to decide whether to give your heart to Geppetto, and what to do with Sofia.

There is an opinion on the Internet that it is better to lie during the first playthrough, because the maximum level of this indicator will unlock all secret weapons. Plus, you can still get the fuller ending. There is no definitive good or bad ending in Lies of P, but there is one that will give you the most information.
What choices are there in the game?
Below we list all the places where you have to make a choice. As in Bloodborne, side quests are given by unknown characters hidden behind the windows of houses. Look around carefully so as not to miss a new window of light.
House on Elysion Boulevard
You move across the rooftops. Before you jump to the ground, inspect the right side of the house with the lighted window via the scaffolding. Inside is an upset woman who will ask you to save her child.

Continue forward along the level until you reach a hallway. On the right is a large doll digging through a mountain of corpses. This is the area before the boss fight. Defeat the doll and grab the baby doll among the bodies. After grabbing the item, return to the crying woman and give it to the “daughter”. Choose what you want to tell her:
- Lie: A cute baby;
- Is it true: It’s just a doll.
Lifting

After clearing the Venigni factory, head to the Cathedral of St. Frangelico. Soon you reach an iron elevator, which is protected by a huntress in a dog mask. She will ask if Pi is a guard:
- Lie: Greet the watchman;
- Is it true: Nothing to do.
Library of the Cathedral of Saint Frangelico
When you finally reach the cathedral library, clear the area. As a result, you will find yourself on a balcony from which two paths lead. One up the stairs, the other into the elevator – you go there.

Take the elevator and you will immediately see Alidoro, a hunter with the head of a dog:
- Lie: Venigni factory. In the future it will be possible to lie again and send Alidoro to Elysion Boulevard. To do this, you need to find it at the factory. If you decide to redeem yourself, send him to the Krat Hotel;
- Is it true: Hotel Krat.
Rose Street Isabel Calvert
From the astrologer, go to the right and talk to the man with the top hat. This is a gentleman, Julian, who asks for his deceased wife’s belongings to be returned. Follow the pipes until you reach the city. At some point you’ll end up in an area with chimney sweep dolls. Go up the stairs, cross the bridge and then go down. There will be a corpse of a woman dressed in a black dress lying against the wall. Once you’re close enough, Gemeni will point it out to you.

Grab your things and return to Julian via the shortcut. Then choose what you want to say:
- Lie: I saw the message she left. It said she loves you;
- Is it true: I did not see anything.
Hotel Krat

After defeating the Puppet King, talk to Antonia:
- Lie: Certainly;
- Is it true: Nothing left.
After talking to Antonia, talk to Polendino at the fountain outside:

- Lie: There is no such puppet;
- Is it true: I have.
Conference room of the Great Exhibition

After defeating Champion Victor and speaking to Simon Manus:
- Lie: Samples;
- Is it true: Hope for healing.
Hotel Krat
Evgenia wants to know what Alidoro’s gloves are like.

- Lie: He was happy;
- Is it true: He said it was trash.
Hotel Krat
During the passage you will find NPC Belle, who will later move to the hotel. Defeat the Corrupted Parade Master and after receiving information from Antonia about the secret passage behind the portrait, talk to Belle. She wants you to find her partner. Travel to Krat Central Station. Go right, down the stairs, turn around and enter the carriage. There is an infected person standing there, but he will not attack.

Talk to the NPC to receive the letter. Return to Belle:
- Lie: He died;
- Is it true: He became a monster.
Hotel Krat

After defeating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood in the Trisimegistus Relic arena, return to the Krat Hotel and talk to Venigni:
- Lie: I didn’t hear it;
- Is it true: Geppetto caused a doll frenzy.
After Venigni deciphers Alidoro’s mysterious ship, read it and talk to Eugenia:
- Lie: I think he was just a talented detective;
- Is it true: He was Eugenie’s older brother.
Exterior wall of Arche Abbey

After opening the last Trinity Sanctuary, find the astrologer, follow into the room with two beams and talk to Arlecchino:
- Lie: Human;
- Is it true: Puppet.
Ascension Bridge
Talk to Sofia after defeating Laxasia:
- Lie: Give her peace;
- Is it true: Let her live.
Upper part of Arche Abbey, inner bridge
After finding Geppetto in the prison cell:
- Lie: Yes;
- Is it true: No.
Arche Abbey, cradle of God

After defeating Simon Manus, inform him of Sophia’s fate:
- When peace is given to you, say: I gave her peace;
- If you may live, say: Released from Arche Abbey.
How to get the ending to “Real Boy: Happily Ever After.”

The simplest and most uninformative ending, which does not depend at all on the amount of lies or truth. Defeat Simon Manus and then take the elevator to the Stargazer Below the Abyss. Talk to Geppetto and agree to his request to give your heart. After all the cutscenes, do not start New Game+, but return to the hotel and visit Geppetto’s office. There is a letter on the table that you can read to get the achievement “A Father’s Story.” Also interact with the piano to get another ‘Pianist Crate’ reward.
How to get the ending to ‘No More Puppet’
This ending requires a few extra steps. First, you will have to choose to tell only the truth in all cases. Also answer ‘stay alive’ in the dialogue with Sofia on the Ascension Bridge and tell Simon about it: ‘I freed her from the Abbey of Arche.’ In the final dialogue with Geppetto, refuse to give up your heart.

If you’ve done everything right, the real final boss will open: another doll. After winning, you can get several achievements: “Freedom from Puppet Strings”, “First Puppet”. You will also receive the Proof of Humanity secret weapon when you trade the Ergo from the first doll with Hugo. This is required for the ‘Special Weapon Collector’ achievement. As in the previous ending, you can interact with the piano to receive the ‘Pianist Crate’ reward.
How to end the Rise of Pi
The ending that will require the most effort from you. But you will see the most screensavers and get the most definitive information.

In all dialogues you must lie (this is a requirement). When talking to Sofia on the Voznesensky Bridge, select “Give her peace.” As with all other options: defeat Simon Manus.
Before you talk to Geppetto about the heart, go to the hotel. Listen to all the music records one by one and then go to the inventor’s office. There should already be a portrait hanging there with that same nose growing on it. If you do it right, the nose will become a secret weapon of the Golden Lie.
Now you can return to Geppetto and refuse to give up your heart. Defeat the real final boss: the Nameless Puppet.
After the credits, go to the inventor’s office in the hotel and read the letter to receive the achievement “The Story of a Blue Butterfly”. You can also pick up all previously announced achievements except Geppetto’s letter.
Is it possible to get multiple endings in one playthrough?
Officially, you have to replay the game three times to see all three endings. In reality, though, you can make your life easier and save it to the cloud before talking to Geppetto. Since choices don’t matter in the Real Boy ending, you get to see at least two endings anyway.
