Why helmets and hats are needed in V Rising

In the character’s gear menu, you’ll see a slot for a headgear. However, helmets and caps work differently from other harnesses. They don’t give any bonuses, just change your hero’s appearance. Below you will learn about the main ways to get hats, scarves and other headgear into the game.

Fishing

Fishing is the easiest way to get tons of valuable items. Among them there are various drawings, metal blocks and, in fact, helmets with hats. To get the fishing rod you have to defeat the boss known as Rufus the Foreman. After you defeat him, the desired drawing will open.
