The Chinese company Kuro Game has announced a new open-world anime Action/RPG called Wuthering Waves, which is very similar to the popular Genshin impact. A CG video, initial gameplay and concept art were released along with the announcement. The official website has also been launched.
In Wuthering Waves, players take on the role of a Wanderer who wakes up in a devastated world where disaster happened hundreds of years ago. The game is being made on the Unreal Engine 4. It is now in an early stage of development, so the release, as the authors note, will look better.
Most likely, Wuthering Waves will be released in 2023-2024. The game will be released worldwide, including outside of China. It is expected to come out not only on Android and iOS, but also on major platforms.
