Blizzard tech support reported that players in Russia can’t download and run Diablo immortal. This applies to both mobile and PC versions.
The support noted that they know how long the restriction will last, but expressed hope that it will eventually be lifted. Whether it will be possible to use VPN to get around is not reported. Note that these restrictions are related to Blizzard suspending game sales in Russia.
As for other countries, the release of Diablo Immortal on iOS and Android will take place on June 2. The beta version of the game will also be released on PC on this day.
The same problem occurred with preloading. On May 26, it became possible to pre-download the client for the PC version in some regions, but in Russia an attempt to download returned an error. And the game page itself did not appear in Battle.net. Rick and Morty is going to be anime
