Publisher PID Games and developer Sirio Games have announced a fantastic third-person shooter called Simulakros. The authors have already shown the first teaser trailer with gameplay footage.
The main action takes place in the futuristic world of the future, where artificial intelligence has become so intelligent that it has enabled the creation of intelligent battle androids.
“CORP (the name of the company) is committed to developing the ultimate weapon: the Simulacros Squad. It’s up to you and a mysterious hacker to thwart their plans by turning deadly battle androids against them. Can two people destroy the largest company in the world?” – says the description.
The game contains roguelike elements. For example, the design of levels and environments will randomly change after each death.
There are three playable characters to choose from (they can be upgraded using cybernetic chips):
- Sniper – effective at long distances. Armed with guns that can manipulate time;
- Flurry – fast and relentless. Armed with a submachine gun based on explosive energy;
- Breakage is powerful and fearless. Armed with a powerful shotgun and grenades. Can teleport.
The exact release date has not yet been announced, but there is already a page on Steam.
