The new Dead Space will be released on January 27, 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5. The full game will be presented at the end of October. Fans get to see clean gameplay and story trailers. Now gamers have revealed a lot of details that will make the remake even scarier.
The authors of the horror film Dead Space explained that while recreating the original locations, they decided not only to improve the quality of the graphics and the level of texture details in them, but also to completely update them. Each compartment of the Ishimura is no longer just a decoration for fighting Necromorphs. They are designed as if people could actually live and work in these places. Each object has its own function in this world. Moreover, they have become part of the horror as they speak without words about the horror that happened here before the arrival of Isaac.
Dead Space developers have redesigned the effects system. Smoke, fog, sparks and many other elements of the environment were rendered realistic, without excessive brightness. At the same time, they correctly communicate with each other, with monsters, the hero, lighting, and even with gravity or its absence. The same goes for Isaac’s costume. A remake of the first part of Dead Space will be released on January 27 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
