Aliens: Dark Descent is a multi-level game. To go up or down you have to use the elevators. Sometimes there are situations where they are no longer interactive. As a rule, there are no objective reasons for this – you just encountered a bug or some non-obvious game convention.
As practice shows, simple solutions to the problem, such as repeated attempts to enter the elevator, restart the game or load the last save, do not work in the vast majority of cases. However, there are effective ways to fix the error:

- Check if there are drones around. If your squad has a drone operator, scout the area and see if an ally robot is nearby. Maybe the game considers him part of your team and you can’t leave the level without him.
