Aliens: Dark Descent is a tactical strategy game set 20 years after the events of the third film in the series. As you progress through the game, you’ll have the opportunity to rescue three characters: Lisa, Robert, and Drake. In this guide we explain how to do this and what consequences you will have to deal with.
An additional task related to saving people will appear in the 6th mission called “Atmospheric Nightmare”. Before helping them, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with all the calendars that are on site. Thanks to them, you can understand whether this or that character will be dangerous in the future. If you make a mistake and take an untrustworthy person on board, he will sabotage your ship the next day. To avoid this, it is worth shooting a potential traitor or simply not looking for him.
Is Drake worth saving? Where to find
You can find Drake in the room, which is located east of the room where the crew meeting is taking place.
Unfortunately, Drake was imbued with the ideas of the cultists, and even kindness to him will not change the man’s worldview. It is not worth taking him on board, it is better to put a bullet in his forehead at the first meeting.
Is it worth saving Robert? Where can you find it
You can find Robert north of the command and control center.
Despite a dead man lying next to him, the man is really innocent. In addition, he was not attacked by a facehugger, so he is not a threat to the crew. You can take it on board the ship.
Does Lisa need to be rescued? Where is she hiding
The girl is next to the laboratory. You will visit this place during the passage of the main story quest.
Lisa studied the xenomorphs, but was not infected by them or influenced by the cult members. If you take her on the ship, there will be no sabotage.
Remark. Aliens: Dark Descent is currently experiencing bugs. In particular, because of them, there is a situation where even a positive character (Lisa or Robert) arranges sabotage, as if performing cult tasks. We recommend that you save before searching for characters and reboot if you encounter this bug. As a last resort, you cannot complete this task or wait for patches.
