“Code of Power”, extraction and sealing

Aspects are essentially Legendary modifiers that you can add to your inventory of non-Legendary gear. These effects can change existing skills for your class or provide a powerful usable power. Each improvement belongs to one of several groups:

To get an aspect, you need either one level to level 25or open it Codex of power. The second option requires you to go through the dungeon. Hover over the selected dungeon on the map to find out which “Code of Power” it will open for you. You can track the unlocked powerups on your account by opening the tab Collections. Just select the Power Code tab and you will see all available aspects of Diablo 4.

If you need to find a specific Legendary aspect, you can select it to place a marker on the world map. Follow the indicated path and go to the desired dungeon. Note: To get into some dungeons, you must first liberate the fortress.

Usually you have to clear the dungeon: kill all the monsters, find some items, then open the gate and defeat the boss. As a result, you will receive a Legendary Aspect as a reward and see it reflected in your Codex of Power.

Improvements can also be found in a special section of the inventory if you removed it from the item. All Legendary quality items already have an aspect, but you can also craft it yourself with the Occultist.

There are two ways to get boosts in the game:

If you dropped a legendary item and you don’t need it, you can go to Occultistic. It destroys the legendary but adds its aspect to your current character’s inventory. Now you can use it on a new more powerful item.

The upgrades added to your Code of Power can be used by any character, so it doesn’t matter which class you go through the dungeon in, as each of your heroes has access to the reward.

Approach the occultist, he is represented on the map as a symbol of three small circles. They can be found in every major city. In Kyovashad, the main settlement at the start of the game, the Occultist is on the left side of the town. Interact with the character to open two menus: on the left aspect menu and your right inventory.

These are not all the tabs and functions available in the Occultist. Here you can also change the characteristics of the selected equipment. But the most valuable and useful thing is the ability to extract and press power-ups.

Aspects have different equipment slot requirements – some are only suitable for loose weapons, while others are suitable for jewelry. Aspects are marked with a symbol indicating the item into which it can be inserted.

Aspects obtained in dungeons and available in the Codex of Power can be endlessly inserted into various items – you don’t have to empty the caves again and again. The most important thing is that you have enough materials and gold to print.

Enhancements removed from gear can only be imprinted once. But you can carry duplicates in your inventory. Duplicates do not necessarily give the same performance. The second upgrade can bring a big performance boost.

While Codex of Power and Dungeons offer a wide variety of useful upgrades, some mods can only be obtained through gear. The item where you insert the new aspect retains the rest of its properties. And if it was a rare and not a legendary item, then it will be.

Once you put a power-up in an item, you can’t take it out a second time. Therefore, think in advance when and what you want to spend it on. You may prefer to save it for later.

You need gold and crystals (Veiled Crystals), which you can get by dismantling rare weapons, jewelry and armor.

For example, you have a level 30 legendary sword with a good stat, but you have outgrown it and you no longer need the item. Unwrap the aspect and use it with the new weapon. Or just keep the buff in your inventory to use it whenever you decide to switch builds.

The process of extracting a power-up from an item will destroy it, so decide in advance that you no longer need it. Unlike imprinting, extracting an aspect only costs a certain amount of gold.
