An old-school action game with platform elements called Chronicles of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu’s Wrath, set in a fantasy version of feudal Japan with evil spirits and demons, has been released on PC and consoles.

The graphics are made in 16-bit style and the gameplay is inspired by the cult projects of the Sega Mega Drive. The game world is based on Japanese myths and legends. In the story, the brave brother and sister, Kensei and Ayame challenge the mighty goddess Amaterasu, who threatens humanity.
Among the features, the developers highlight the elements of metroidvania, “luxurious” pixel graphics and the ability to instantly switch between the main characters, which have unique characteristics.

“Samurai Kensei wields a katana in close combat, but cannot jump. Ninja Ayame (kunoichi) is much more agile and attacks from a distance”says the description.
As you progress through the game, players can upgrade their character by learning new skills, from hitting the ground and stunning enemies to double jumping to access high platforms.
You can buy Chronicles of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu’s Wrath on Steam for 710 rubles (there is a free demo). The game is also available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
Atomic Heart was released on Russian Steam, but as an analogue of Vampire Survivors
