Independent Studio Engineer is developing a soul-like action game with RPG elements called VELASTER. The authors of the project published several gameplay videos and showed screenshots.
The game takes gamers to a bleak world that combines angels, demons and humans. The main character will have to fight against hordes of terrible creatures and survive in difficult conditions.
The game has three characters to choose from: a knight (uses a sword and shield with one hand), a warrior with two swords, and a mighty soldier with a hammer. Among the features, developers emphasize hardcore combat and complex boss monsters.
The exact release date for VELASTER has not yet been announced, but the developers hope to release their project in early access later this year. Steam already has a page.
