The very first Star Wars was released in 1977. Over the past 46 years, the series has become a cult classic and now consists of hundreds of works from the most diverse genres. On the day of the release of the long-awaited Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, we’ve decided to recall all movies, animated series, and video games dedicated to a galaxy far, far away.

Timeline and canon of Star Wars
Understanding all the intricacies of the world of Star Wars is no easy task. For example, there was a Star Wars Expanded Universe until April 2014. It included movies, books, comics and video games. The works were created by different authors, so sometimes they contradicted each other. George Lucas even introduced a strict gradation for them according to the degree of canonicity.
But before The Force Awakens (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) was released, Disney canceled the Expanded Universe. However, fans disagreed with this decision. They can be understood – many works released before 2014 turned out to be real masterpieces.

The first half of this article lists all the movies, TV shows, and animation projects that have been released in the Star Wars universe to date. They are arranged in strict chronological order. The second part of our material is all of the video games within the Star Wars series released over the past forty years, regardless of whether they are considered canonical today or not. The list is sorted by release date, from early Atari 2600 projects to recent Fallen Order and Squadrons.
