Many games come out every year. Some become classics, others are forgotten. But sometimes it’s nice to soak up the nostalgia and remember your first gaming experience. For some this is a computer with a floppy drive, for others a SEGA console from the 90s. Today we have selected 120 interesting games from the SEGA Mega Drive 2 era that you can still try. In what way, we believe, you yourself know. And let’s get closer to nostalgia.
Also an important note: when listing the platforms on which this or that game was released, we indicated absolutely all systems, not just Sega’s console – just for general erudition and historical fairness.

For convenience, we have divided all the material into cards, in which we have collected games by genre:
Page 2 – Action – games with an emphasis on the player’s physical abilities and reactions.
Page 3 – Simulators – shooting ranges, sports games, pinball and so on. Anything close to real life.
Page 4 – Platform Games – The basis of the gameplay is jumping on platforms and collecting items needed to defeat enemies or complete a level.
Page 5 – Adventure – the genre is characterized by a large number of dialogues and a well-thought-out plot.
Page 6 – Run’n’gun – literally “run and shoot”. Such games are characterized by linear levels in which the main character fires back from endless waves of enemies with a huge ammunition.
Page 7 – Beat ’em up – similar to run’n’gun, but with hand-to-hand combat. These games are perfect for co-op.
Page 8 – Racing – you have to be ahead of all the participants in the race, or just make it to the finish line.
Page 9 – Strategies – Players act as supreme commanders. It depends on them how cities will develop, bases where troops will go, how resources will be distributed.
