Independent developer only creates large-scale role-playing game with action elements called AIKODE. He has already published several videos and also showed gameplay footage. The project has been carried out in spirit NieR: Automata.
In the first video you can see how the main character fights with opponents in different locations and rides a bicycle.
The second video is a teaser with cinematic scenes.
The developer also released the game’s soundtrack.
There is very little information about AIKODE so far. It is known that the project is being created on Unreal Engine 5. The action takes place in a fantastic environment, and artificial intelligence is at the center of the plot. Development has been going on for over a year.
The author promises a huge number of different gameplay mechanics (mini-games, the ability to fly, fish, cook, etc.) and about 200 character costumes. In addition, the game will have several endings and a system of relationships between heroes, each of which will have unique abilities.
Some locations are inspired by real places. For example, there is a level that is a copy of the Shibuya district in Tokyo.
The project is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It may also appear on Switch in the future.
