Collect treasures Resident Evil 4 players will not only have to earn money and further upgrade their equipment, but also get “platinum”. In this guide we describe all the necessary stones and relics that can be found during the game.

Remark: Quite often, you’ll be hitting gems from mini-bosses and regular barrels or crates. Such treasures do not count towards the achievement, as they can appear randomly. However, we will point out a few.
Chapter 1
Velvety gemstone
Enter the open house in the central village square. After the cutscene, go to the second floor and get the gun with the grenade. Jump right out of the window and run to the right along the roof. At the dead end you will find a stone.
After battling many locals, follow the path to the left and check out the distant building on the left. Inside you will find Ruby. It can be put in the carafe, which you will find later.
Pearl necklace
Once at the farm, inspect a small windmill with metal blades. They have a cage with a treasure attached to it, if you knock it over you will get a pearl necklace.
If you shoot while the lantern is hanging over the well, you will receive a Dirty Necklace. The merchant buys it from you, but at a lower price.
Now run to the locked gate and enter the door on their right. There will be a piece here, so get rid of the explosives and go to the second floor. Go around the millstones and go through the door to the balcony, from where you can jump down and inspect the red box. This will give you the Decanter.
Remark: gems can be placed in the carafe to increase the value when sold
After the previous treasure, go into the shed and inspect the table drawer. Stone interior.
Chapter 2
When you first meet the trader, follow ahead until you find yourself in a wide open area. There will be many enemies here. Defeat them and run to the left of the entrance. Climb up the hill and find the red chest. Ruby’s in.

While searching for the Hex Emblem, examine the building to the right of the main entrance. Inside you will find a small key. Return to the abandoned factory and use the key on the locked chest of drawers. There’s a treasure in it.
After you find the six-sided decal, go back and open the gate. Kill some locals and then examine the hole to the left of the stairs. Just behind it is a red chest containing a sapphire.
Pearl necklace
Climb the stairs and go forward to the well. There is also a lantern here. Before taking him down, we recommend shooting the wooden stick that holds the lid of the well. If the necklace falls into the well, it will also get dirty and you will receive less pesetas for such an item.
Here, point the camera up and look for a small cage with Sapphire.
As soon as you pick up the previous treasure, an opponent with a chainsaw will appear. Defeat him to get the Emerald.
Go to the village chief’s house and go around it to find an open door. Go forward and examine the drawer in the table on the right.
Chapter 3

Return to the main square of the village and look at the second house on the left. There is a locked chest here that can be opened with the key found in the chieftain’s house.
Velvety gemstone
Enter the town hall and look at the ceiling above the long table in the great room. Knock over the cage to get a gem.
Elegant hairpin
Go around the church building and inspect the red box to the right of the stairs. Treasure inside.
Go to the quarry and look up. On the jetty in the distance is a blue medallion and on the right hangs a cage with a ruby.
Old smoking pipe
In the Fish Hatchery, follow to the second platform and climb it. Examine the wooden gate, behind which is a cage with a treasure.
Copper pocket watch
If you get fuel for the boat, don’t rush to swim across the lake. It is better to return to the place with the merchant and jump to the lower level to the water. There will be a locked chest here on the right, which you can now open with a small key (you should be able to pick it up from the Fish Hatchery).
Chapter 4
After fighting the fish, get into the boat and swim to the middle of the lake. You see a wrecked ship. Open the red chest and take the stone.
Luxury bracelet
Can be obtained after the battle with the giant fish. To do this, go through the cave with the altar and take the key to the old chapel. Hop in the boat and head west until you reach the coast. There will be a shrine, opening in which you will receive treasure.
At the same location, while looking at the Wayshrine, turn the camera to the right and up. On a wooden beam you see a treasure hanging down, which can be knocked over with a shot from a firearm.
Velvety gemstone
Follow the big cave nearby, where you have to solve the puzzle with symbols. The door on the left is locked, so turn right and ignore the first set of stairs on the right. In the next passage you will see a lantern and a wooden platform. Raise the camera and look for a cage with a treasure.
If you go east to the small cave and solve the puzzle here, go up the stairs and knock over the cage with the stone.

Before continuing in the story, go to the Settlement by the Lake and inspect the altar. Now that you have the key, you can open it and get the treasure.

In the same settlement you will find a beetle that costs 10,000 pesetas. Once moored at the pier, follow to the left and inspect the trees behind the building. This beetle will sit on one of them.

To get this treasure, unlock the door with the cult icon in the same location, climb the stairs and find the small key. Go back and fight some infected dogs, then enter the house where you found Luis. Unlock the box with the key and take the rod.
Ring with red stone
In the same house, follow ahead and jump into the basement. At the place where Louis lay before, you can pick up the old man’s treasure and diary.
gift idol
This treasure can be obtained after finding all the hexagonal pieces and solving the riddle on the dock. We’ve covered this in more detail in a separate guide.
You can also use a combination (normal difficulty):
- Turn to the left;
- Turn the top over.
- Twice left;
- Once upstairs.
Lamp with butterflies
After receiving the key to the church, follow back to the merchant and head to the quarry. There is a way-shrine in front of the quarry entrance. Use the previously found key and get the treasure.
Defeat El Gigante as you make your way through the quarry to the church.
Velvety gemstone
Examine the bead that contained El Gigante.
Use the key on the church door and enter. To the right of the altar, take the small key, then exit the building and return to the room with the typewriter. Open the chest with the key, take the treasure.
chapter 5
At the beginning of a chapter, don’t rush to follow the story. Go back to the room where you found Ashley. Here’s a cage with a diamond.
Elegant bracelet
Follow the village square through the town hall and look at the first house on the left (you couldn’t enter it before). Give Ashley a push to make her open the gate.
Old smoking pipe
Go to the farm and open the road altar with the shrine key. Treasure inside.

Go to the main square of the village and follow to the house of the village chief. On the second floor, examine the painting and find the lever that lowers part of the stairs. Give Ashley a lift to climb up. At the end of the attic you will find an old camera.
Go back to the square and defeat the huge mutant dog to get this stone.
Chapter 6
At the beginning of the chapter, after meeting the merchant, follow the long location and defeat all enemies. There is a staircase to the left of the entrance. Climb up and inspect the red box.
Chalice of redemption
Go to the next location. On the left is the only building that has an enemy in it. Kill him and examine the chest.
Elegant hairpin
When you get to the locker where you can hide Ashley, exit the building through the door on the left. Nearby you will find the last waysshrine, which can be opened with a key.
After the fight with the boss of the slaughterhouse, leave the barn and follow the path up to the castle tower. On the way there will be the only tree on which hangs a cage with the last treasure in the village. If you have collected all the treasures before, you will now receive the achievement “villain”.
