Notorious insider Tom Henderson (Tom Henderson) said that Sony is working on the PlayStation 5 Pro. The console may be released in late 2024.
It’s too early to talk about specs, but judging by recent patent, the Pro version has improved ray tracing. It makes sense to assume that the games will feature enhanced visual effects and higher resolution.
Henderson noted that the PS5 Pro has nothing to do with the next version of the PS5. Earlier, an insider said that Sony will release an updated version of the PS5 with removable disk at the end of 2023. Such a decision, experts say, will reduce the console’s production costs.
