Bethesda released a new trailer yesterday. Starfield, where they showed off some gameplay and announced a new release date – September 6. Portal PC Gamer dissected the video and saw a few interesting details:
- One of the frames shows the helmets that the hero can find. There’s an explorer’s helmet, a mercenary, a navigator, a pirate, a pilot, and even a space trucker;
- If desired, you can disable the helmet display in locations where the hero can breathe;
- Helmets have a number of characteristics: protection against physical, energy and electromagnetic damage. In addition, there is resistance to radiation, heat, corrosion and toxic fumes;
- Loot collection is the same as in Fallout 4 – a small window just pops up on the screen;
- A glimpse of a level 75 enemy was shown in the video. It makes sense to assume that the main character can achieve the same values;
- The build shown does not support ultra-wide monitors: there are black bars on the sides of the screen.
Starfield’s full presentation will take place on June 11. The game will only be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
