Recently Fool’s Theory studio, which is currently making a remake The Witcher, announced an RPG called The Thaumaturge, which takes place in Warsaw in 1905, which at that time was part of the Russian Empire. Recently, the authors published a new trailer showing footage of the gameplay.
You can also see some screensavers in the video. One shows a living skeleton in a hat with earflaps. This character is an alien – a solver. It is capable of actively affecting people’s minds and can be used by the character in battle.
Among the main features, the developers of The Thaumaturge distinguish a deep plot, a unique tactical combat system, well-developed character leveling, detective elements, a difficult moral choice and unpredictable consequences.
No release date has been announced, but Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store already have pages. The publisher of the game is the Polish company 11 bit Studios, known for This war of mine and Frostpunk.
