IN Hogwarts Legacy At the end of the prologue, the player can choose one of four houses: Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw. The shape and the living room we will live in depends on the choice, but there will generally be no gameplay or plot features of changes. The main difference can be considered a unique task – one for each faculty.

Unique tasks become available after completing the additional task “The Ghost of Our Love”. It is also worth noting that in the end they all lead to one thing – we have to help the ghost of Richard Galkrad and at the same time find the missing pages necessary for the main plot. The quest itself is called Calm of Galkrad, you can see the passage in this guide.
Ravenclaw Unique Quest: Ollivander’s heirloom
For Ravenclaw students, the unique quest begins with helping Ollivander, an artisan whose family has been making wands for centuries. His shop is located in Hogsmeade. The wizard will ask us to find and return a family heirloom – a magic wand that Richard Galgrad stole a long time ago.
Herbold Ollivander believes the wand’s location is hidden somewhere in Hogwarts owl house. Once there we find a small statue of Jackdaw and five pedestals for other similar statues, as well as many small niches. The latter must be unlocked using the Accio spell and the images of Jackdaws that have fallen out must be placed on the pedestals.
Note that some statues can be found by climbing to the top of the Owlery and drawing the niches there using Accio. After all the footage is collected, a cutscene begins where Galkrad agrees to help us find the wand and the necessary pages. This completes the quest.
Hufflepuff Unique Quest: Prisoner of Love
If you’ve chosen Hufflepuff as your home, a unique quest starts when you talk to Eldritch Diggory’s portrait. This is located in the faculty lounge. He seems to know something about the Restricted Section book. The wizard believes she is connected to a case once investigated by his great-niece.
By the time the game takes place, this niece is a retired Auror and the player goes to her for information. From a conversation with Helen Thistle, we learn that Apollonia Black blamed a girl named Anna for Richard Galkrad’s death, jealous of Anna and Richard’s relationship.
Anna tried to solve a riddle Galkrad had given her that would allow her to meet a man. But she didn’t succeed. Helen believes Anna has already solved the riddle, but the sorceress is currently in Azkaban and is extremely reluctant to engage in dialogue after a long exposure to the Dementors.
After the conversation, we go to Azkaban, where we talk to Anna and get information about the cave, which is located in Upper Hogsfield. There is a puzzle in this cave.
To solve it, you need to use Accio to take out the blocks that are highlighted in blue when using Revelio. After we move on and find a note that Richard left to Anna. On the way back, the ghost of Galkrad appears in front of us and the task ends.
Gryffindor Unique Quest: The Hunt for the Missing Pages
For Gryffindors, the search for the missing pages begins with a conversation with Nearly Headless Nick. It can be found next to the Hourglass at the entrance of the Great Hall.
Like in the Harry Potter books, Nick wants to enter the Headless Hunters Club, which he is not allowed to enter because the ghost’s head weighs several inches of skin. Almost decapitated Nick wants to impress the club representatives and asks the player to bring him something suitable.
So we go straight under the Great Hall, to a still life with cheerful fruits. Interact with the painting by tickling the pear and enter the Hogwarts kitchen. Here we need to find a piece of rotten roast beef on one of the barrels. The fact is that ghosts can smell the smell and taste of food, but only if it is spoiled.
Then we head to the pumpkin patch next to Hogsmeade’s graveyard to meet the Headless Hunt. They will once again deny membership to Nearly Headless Nick and invite the player to participate in a spooky analogue of hide and seek. Use your Primal Spell to destroy the pumpkins illuminated by Revelio’s spell to eventually find Richard Galkrad.
Slytherin Unique Quest: Scrope’s Last Hope
For Slytherin students, a unique task begins with a message from a house elf. He asks us to find the second message in the Clock Tower courtyard. It is in the mouth of the griffin statue. From this we learn about the next entry – behind the wooden bridge.
To find it, you must use the Accio spell to move the box to the rock on the left, where the message is located. It in turn reveals the location of the last note – in a pumpkin at the foot of the hill. This pumpkin can be shattered by players using a primary spell.
Finally, after all the searching, we find ourselves at the ruined harbor, where we meet Scrope, the director’s house-elf. He asks us to get a ring from one of the caves and mentions that its previous owner, Apollonia Black, knew something about the pages we needed and used the cave as an office.
In the cave itself, after a short dive, it is necessary to explore the pedestal, which paves the way for the player to Apollonia’s office. After the player takes the diary of the sorceress from the desktop, a cutscene will begin in which we will talk to Galkrad. The quest itself will end after returning to Scrope and talking to the house elf.
