You can start the search immediately after getting the Alohomora spell and completing the side quest The Daedalian Keys, which you get from Nelly in the Transfiguration Yard in the Astronomy Wing. The quest appears the next day after the initial encounter with the magic school.
How to open the Faculty Chest?
Ravenclaw FacultyTo open the Faculty Chest, you need to find 16 tokens. They, in turn, are hidden in household cupboards all over Hogwarts. To open such a cabinet, you need to find a suitable key that flies nearby. A spell helps the search Revelioavailable from the very beginning of the game.
The result is the following chain:
- We find the flying key.
- We run with him to the Faculty Wardrobe. The key is used automatically.
- We press the key at the moment when it flies over the lock.
- We are given a coin that must be brought to the chest.
- We repeat the steps 16 times with each of the cabinets.
Finding all 16 of them will unlock the cloak cosmetic upgrade. You can access cosmetics in the equipment inventory by pressing the F button.
How to find the house cupboards and collect all the tokens
Although players can choose one of four houses, their location on the map remains the same. Therefore, it does not matter at all which faculty your character belongs to. Below we describe the location of each of them.
Wardrobe 1
- Place: Astronomical Wing, Astronomical Tower.
Located in the classroom. The key can be found at the top of the tower. This quest is a tutorial and cannot be skipped.

- Place: Library annex, central hall.
Located on the side of the stairs leading to the courtyard of the Transfiguration. The key is on the other side (you have to run past the central fountain).
wardrobe 3
- Place: Library annex, central hall.
Go up one floor from the previous location. The cabinet is directly above the Point with a flying flame. The key can be found under the stairs, to the right of the large door that leads to the street.
Wardrobe 4
- Place: Great Hall, Great Hall.
Installed one floor up, directly above the Flying Flame Point. The key can be found by climbing the central spiral staircase.
Wardrobe 5
- Place: Library Extension, Library.
Examine the other side of the room. The closet is hidden on the wall behind the shelves. The key is next to the fireplace.
Wardrobe 6
- Place: Astronomy Wing, Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
Located on the same floor. Exit the classroom and examine the right wall – there is a cupboard here. The key is on the floor below. He flies near the skeleton of a large animal that resembles a rhinoceros.

- Place: South Wing, Teacher’s Tower.
Examine the lower floor of the location and look under the stairs. Here comes a closet. The key is on the floor above.
Wardrobe 8
- Place: South Wing, Hospital Wing.
Follow the stairs from the previous closet and look around the hall next to the bathroom. The key is in the corridor of portraits that leads to the Clock Tower.
Wardrobe 9
- Place: South wing, courtyard with bell tower.
Go to the location where underground fighting takes place. To the left of the exit to the street there is a closed door of the first floor. Use the Alohomora and follow the stairs up until you find a closet. The key is directly below it. By the way, here you can also solve a small puzzle and open four locked rooms.
Wardrobe 10
- Place: Big hall.
Check out the lobby. The wardrobe is at the bottom of the stairs and the key can be collected on the top floor.
Wardrobe 11
- Place: Big hall.
Go to the Great Hall and go up the stairs in the corner of the room. The key is next to the huge fireplace.
Wardrobe 12
- Place: Library Annex, Potions Class.
Before you enter the Potions room, you will see a key. Follow him down the stairs, at the end of the path will be the right cupboard.
Wardrobe 13
- Place: Wing of the bell tower, courtyard of the bell tower.
Climb the side stairs to the music room. The cabinet is right in front of the audience. The key will fly at the bottom of the stairs, don’t miss it.
Wardrobe 14
- Place: Wing of the bell tower, courtyard of the bell tower.
Go down the stairs from the previous closet and enter the basement. The closet is to the left of the stairs and the key flies one floor below, not far from the dragon.
Wardrobe 15
- Place: Wing of the bell tower, Yard of the bell tower.
Go past the dragon from the previous cabinet to get into the barrel storage cellar. This passage leads to a secret filing cabinet. The cupboard will be against the wall on the left. On the way you will come across a key.
Wardrobe 16
- Place: Stairs of Hogwarts, cobbled courtyard.
Can be found next to the door leading to the Gryffindor Tower. This is the only closet that is outside. The key is on the path that leads to the adjoining courtyard.
As a reward, you will receive a unique robe from your house. It is a cosmetic item, so the bathrobe cannot be sold. But under that you can put on any other cloak with better properties. Of the special abilities, a bright glow can be distinguished when using various spells – it looks really impressive, especially during battles at night.
