The spell will mainly be needed to search for collectibles and rare gear, but also to access certain Hogwarts locations and an enjoyable and fast-paced exploration of the open world. Therefore, we recommend learning it as early as possible. Like many mechanics in the game, Alohomora becomes available as you progress through the main story.
How do you learn the Alohomora spell and open level 1 locks?
You will have the chance to learn this spell during the main storyline, during the mission “The Warden’s Complaint to the Moon”. She is part of a global quest “Get Ready to Find the Last Caretaker”. Choose a task and go to the Hogwarts janitor, Gladwyn Moon.
The man will ask you to bring him two statues of demimasks, which are located in the closed rooms of Hogwarts. According to him, someone is mocking Moon by placing nearby statues of creatures he is very afraid of.
These moons can only be collected at night. During the day, when the moon in the hands of the statues is not glowing, the collect button is inactive.
The statues Gladwyn Moon requests are in the restricted areas of Hogwarts. The janitor will teach the hero the Alohomora spell, which will allow him to open the locks of the first level.

Opening locks with Alohomora
If the character knows the spell, he can interact with the locked lock. At this point a minigame begins.
